Hundred Men’s Competition 2026 – Schedule, Teams & Fixtures

February 11, 2026

The Hundred Men’s Competition will return in 2026 with eight teams competing across England and Wales from July 21 to August 16.

Organised by the ECB, the tournament will feature 34 matchdays and matches at established venues including Lord’s, The Kia Oval, and Edgbaston.

The season will open with a double-header at The Kia Oval, where MI London face Sunrisers Leeds in the first men’s match. With squads partly confirmed through retentions and direct signings, attention now turns to the full schedule and team compositions for the upcoming season.

What Is The Hundred Men’s Competition?

The Hundred is a short-format cricket tournament organised by the ECB, in which each team faces 100 balls per innings rather than traditional overs.

In The Hundred, bowling is measured in balls rather than traditional overs. Bowlers deliver sets of five balls at a time and can bowl up to 20 balls in a match, with the option to bowl ten balls consecutively if required.

The Hundred 2026 Men’s Budget and Overseas Player Rules

Each team in the Hundred Men’s Competition 2026 has a total salary cap of £2.05 million. With four players already retained or signed by every franchise, £950,000 has been deducted from each team’s budget before the auction.

This leaves £1.1 million available for teams to complete their squads during the main auction. Franchises may also sign up to four overseas players, an increase from previous seasons, providing greater flexibility when finalising team combinations.
