In The Hundred, bowling is measured in balls rather than traditional overs. Bowlers deliver sets of five balls at a time and can bowl up to 20 balls in a match, with the option to bowl ten balls consecutively if required.
The competition was introduced to attract new audiences to the game and offer a faster format alongside existing domestic tournaments.
